Design & Coordination

TND provides design services from initial feasibility studies through to fully coordinated design‑and‑build packages. Our CAD and design team can verify, develop and co‑ordinate consultant tender and design‑intent drawings and 3D models, or produce complete designs from first principles. Where projects demand additional capacity or specialist modelling, we work with trusted external consultant engineers and BIM partners to deliver detailed, coordinated MEP 3D models using industry‑standard software, ensuring constructability, clash‑free coordination and seamless handover to site teams.

Electrical

We provide LV switchgear, main and sub-main distribution, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and associated power infrastructure, providing resilience, continuity of supply, and operational reliability. We install internal and external lighting, emergency lighting, and specialist power systems, fully compliant with current regulations and project specifications. We also deliver life-safety systems, controls and integration, structured data, and specialist electrical services, ensuring full coordination with mechanical systems and wider building services. All installations are supported by structured quality control, inspection and testing to BS 7671, full certification, and comprehensive handover documentation. Through detailed planning, technical coordination, and controlled commissioning, we deliver robust electrical systems designed for performance, maintainability, and long-term operation.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION

Pre-construction is where effective Mechanical and Electrical delivery begins. Early engagement allows us to fully understand project requirements and put clear plans in place from the outset.

We review design and employer information, develop coordinated M&E designs, and produce clear drawings, programmes, and technical submissions. Working closely with clients and the wider project team, we ensure systems are buildable, compliant, and aligned with programme and budget expectations.

Through careful planning, value engineering, and early supply-chain engagement, we reduce risk and help ensure a smooth transition into construction.

SITE MANAGEMENT

We provide proactive site management services focused on collaboration, clarity, and efficient delivery. Working closely with our customers and the wider project team, we take a practical, hands-on approach to managing works on site.

Our team is approachable and supportive, always looking to assist, resolve issues early, and find the easiest path of least resistance to keep projects moving safely and efficiently. Through clear communication, coordination of trades, and day-to-day programme management, we help reduce disruption, manage risk, and maintain quality standards throughout the construction phase.

Mechanical Services

Our scope includes the design development, installation, and commissioning of heating and cooling systems, ventilation and air-handling, air conditioning, and domestic hot and cold water services, delivering safe, efficient, and compliant mechanical solutions.

We install low-temperature hot water (LTHW), chilled water (CHW), and refrigerant-based systems, including boilers, chillers, pumps, and associated plant. Our capabilities also extend to drainage, gas and fuel installations, and specialist mechanical plant, all installed in accordance with current standards.

All systems are supported by high-quality pipework, well-planned plant room construction, and off-site prefabrication where appropriate, ensuring buildable, maintainable, and efficient long-term operation.

Programming

We provide detailed and well-structured project programmes to support controlled and efficient delivery. Our programmes are developed using Asta Powerproject, allowing us to produce clear, logical sequences that accurately reflect the scope of works.

All programmes are fully coordinated with the main contractor’s master programme, ensuring alignment with key milestones, interfaces, and project constraints. We give particular attention to the commissioning process, clearly detailing commissioning activities, testing periods, witness points, and handover requirements to ensure systems are delivered safely and in line with programme expectations.

Life Safety & Specialists Systems

We provide a comprehensive range of life-safety, control, and sustainability-focused building services, supporting safe, efficient, and compliant building operation. Our capabilities include energy and sustainability solutions, controls and systems integration, and the delivery of critical fire and life-safety systems, including sprinkler suppression, dry and wet risers, and smoke ventilation systems. Where required, we also undertake computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling to support compliant smoke control strategies and optimise system performance.

Integrated data, AV, and lighting control systems delivering reliable connectivity and intelligent, energy-efficient building control.

Energy Efficiency Systems

We deliver energy-efficient building services designed to reduce operational energy use and improve long-term performance. Our solutions include air source heat pumps (ASHPs), solar PV systems with battery storage, and other low-carbon technologies tailored to project and building requirements.

We also provide LED luminaires, intelligent lighting control systems, and efficient building controls, enabling improved energy management, flexibility, and occupant comfort. All systems are carefully designed, installed, and commissioned to ensure compliance, reliability, and measurable energy performance improvements.
